Bruno Van Haelst obtained his Master’s degree in Law at the University of Ghent (UG, Ghent Belgium) in 1996. He went on to gain further degrees in International Law at the University of Louvain-La-Neuve (UCL, Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium) in 1997 and in Corporate Law at the University of Antwerp (UIA, Antwerp, Belgium) in 2004.
He started practicing as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 1997 and joined Rawlings Giles in 2006.
Bruno Van Haelst is mostly active in commercial and corporate law. He specializes in real estate structuring and advisory, construction law, as well as commercial and corporate litigation. He has been involved in the restructuring of companies and gives assistance and advisory services in mergers and acquisitions. His clients are national and multinational companies, building contractors and investors, equity funds and individual investors.
Bruno Van Haelst is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
