Valentina Dalla Giovanna was admitted to the Brussels Bar in November 2019. She joined the Rawlings Giles law firm in February 2023.

She obtained her master’s degree in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, with a specialization in public and international law, during which she did her Erasmus (exchange program) at the Freie Universität Berlin.

From a young age, she showed great interest in new technologies and social justice matters. Her experience and international background have reinforced her attraction and curiosity for these subjects.

Eager to help, defend, assist, advise, and accompany people and companies confronted with the law of new technologies – an important area of our modern societies – it is therefore quite natural for her to specialize in this field in which she works with passion and commitment. Prior to joining Rawlings Giles in 2023, Valentina has gained two years’ experience in this field.

Her practices focuses on data protection law and on the freedom of speech in the digital age. Additionally, Valentina Dalla Giovanna also treats cases in medical law, contract law and more broadly on commercial and civil law. She handles cases in French, Italian, English and German. She also has a good passive knowledge of Dutch.
