Filip Rutgeerts is a lawyer and litigator since 1996 in the broad area of commercial law. More than 20 years professional expertise.
He obtained his Master’s degree in Law at the Catholic University of Louvain (KULeuven Belgium) in 1996. He went on to gain further degrees in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law at Catholic University of Brussels (KUBrussel, Belgium) and followed a specific Tax Law program at the Liberal University of Brussels (VUBrussel, Belgium).
His particularly fields of interest and skills are contract law, corporate law and intellectual property law.
He developed over the years also valuable expertise in mergers and acquisitions and the related legal assistance in aspects of strategic management, corporate finance and management dealing with the buying, selling, dividing and combining of different companies with the aim to provide growth or positive value.
In more recent years he has also gathered knowledge in the area of Medical Liability and commercial Arbitration.
